'HillMeridian started with an inspired vision: to introduce genuine Neapolitan pizza to Rome. Established by the Bianchi lineage in 1985, our little pizza shop began as a quaint, family-owned venture with time-honored recipes passed down through many generations.
The founder of 'HillMeridian', Marco Bianchi, mastered the craft of pizza creation during her extensive travels across Italy, learning from master pizzaiolos in Naples—the original home of pizza. On her return to the UK, she was committed to replicating the essence of authentic Italian pizza, employing classic techniques and the purest ingredients.
Starting with a cozy space of just 12 seats, we've expanded into a cherished neighborhood fixture. Yet, our dedication to craft and genuine taste hasn't changed. We still practice old-world wood-fired oven baking, prepare our dough from scratch daily, and seek out the best ingredients available.
Even today, 'HillMeridian' is still directed and owned by the family, with the Bianchi's second generation taking the helm of our dedicated crew. While we have adopted some modern updates, the core of our mission remains: to serve delectable, genuine pizza that brings our community together.
